OUR VOLUNTEERS HARD AT WORK
2005 AND 2006
Each year on Memorial day an unknown person holding
our flag appears upon the hill overlooking the West
Hawaii Veteran's Cemetery.  He stands at attention during
all the ceremonies.  When asked who he is he will not say.
When he is thanked for coming he just says, "I am not
here for you, I am here for them."   We call him,
                  THE SILENT SENTINEL
"Stranger, go tell the Spartans
that we lie here in obedience to
                   their laws."
